The Level 7 Chartered Legal Executive Litigator and Advocate Apprenticeship is a rigorous, Master's-degree-level program allowing you to qualify as a CILEX Lawyer. Combining on-the-job training and academic study, it equips you to manage a caseload, provide expert legal advice, and secure full practice rights.
Key Programme Details
Official Standard: Chartered Legal Executive Litigator and Advocate
Equivalent Level: Master’s Degree.
Typical Duration: 36 to 48 months (with an additional EPA/gateway period, bringing the total typical framework to 66 months).
Funding Value: Maximum funding cap is £27,000.
Off-the-Job Training: Requires a minimum of 6 hours per week of paid time dedicated to training and studying.
Entry Requirements
You typically need to progress onto this Level 7 route by having completed:
The Level 3 or Level 4/5 Paralegal Apprenticeship.
The CPQ (CILEX Professional Qualification) Foundation stage.
A qualifying law degree.
