CIEH Level 2 Award in Principles of Risk Assessment

Course Overview

Assessing and preventing risks in the workplace is essential for moral, legal and economic reasons. In total 36 million working days were lost in 2006/2007 to accidents and ill health. Whatever the causes of risk, whether due to accident or ill-health, risk assessments must be carried out so that controls can be put in place to reduce the harm caused to workers. This course ensures that the basic principles of risk assessment are learnt. Delegates leave the course with a copy of the CIEH booklet “Principles of Risk Assessment”.
